Description
A poster with an alternate coat of arms I made for my fatherland! As you can see I added the monarchical crown to replace the mural crown and sticked to the eagle without the ugly broken chains that symbolize our "break free" from Nazi rule that never happened (basically the coa of the 1st Austrian Republic). Sickle and Hammer still represent farmers and workers. This could become a possible coat of arms for an Austrian elective monarchy without a revived Habsburg dynasty.Related content

Would they use the title of Kaiser or would it be just King?.....since some absolutely careless people managed to loose the Empire.

Archduke would be more appropriate in a historical sense since "King" never was used as a title for nobles in my country.... But well... if it's an elective monarchy we could think about it though since it's a totally new type of thing then. Hmmm. Difficult question actually. Debatable.

After re-reading this I realize it sounds misleading. The title king was used as a title by rulers of the Empire but it wasn't an "Austrian" title used for the ruler of just the German-speaking crownlands at all. Emperor Franz Josef for example was King of Hungary or Bohemia etc. But what I meant by my previous statement was that "King" wouldn't likely be used since Austria never was a Kingdom and the crownlands of the now dissolved Empire that weren't German speaking were the ones that had used these titles with the Austrian Imperial ruler just taking them on as a unified ruler but still not as the ruler of just Austria. KFJ was an Archduke of Austria for example but not a King of Austria since such a title never existed for nobles. Ok. I am satisfied with that explanation now.
