Commissioned portrait of a friend of mine. The lovely Denise is the one who supplied me with the picture of the Dancing Tree so I put it behind her. I actually like the oil version much better. Unfortunately, although I wanted to make prints of it, it scanned badly and put lines across it, and I just can't afford to have it photographed.Denise as well as Lynda and Danny who commissioned the piece share the booth with me at the Renaissance Festival in Georgia. They make fairy houses which are most cool

Can I just fav everything in your gallery? Is this a traditional painting? You said you liked the oil version better. Is this a digital painting? I like the dancing tree. I have done and think of trees like this. So glad to see others think similar ideas. Now I am even more inspired to continue painting.

Actually that was originally painted in oils, but the scan turned out funky and put lines across it. Hehe, I was pretty amazed that it was a real tree. Oh good! Glad to inspire
