The very first thing that jumps out at me is the shine on the cub's eyes, so sharp and focused. The colours you have captured are vivid yet muted; the golden fur on the cub and the sweet-pea green of the grass is amazing. The shadowing on the cub is low as well as the lighting, which is mainly focused on the head, this creates an effect where it just draws you in, wondering what the cub is looking at. The foreground is blurred whereas the background is not - brilliant effect. Overall, a very interesting piece and superb use of technique. Keep up the good work!

Wow, I've never seen a lion with such pronounced spots! 
This picture is gorgeous, very sharp, and the cubs' dark rich colors make it even better.
