WHAT IS SO SPECIAL ABOUT ROYALS AND THEIR SETUS FORMS?
The Royal subclass of the Selkidae species is by far the most accomplished and astounding. The original breeds of Selkica were developed to become elite aquatic espionage agents that could discretely monitor the activities of the Americas and Russia. When it had become apparent that there was no evading a full scale war and lines were drawn among the nations of Europe, the Advanced classes of Selkicas were created. The Nomads with their unbreakable builds, the sirens with their streamline speedy bodies, and lastly the Royals who were the most indomitable in physical prowess. After the infamous Besmic Impact they had acquired the most unique biological processes that to this day no scientist has able to comprehend. The trace elemental compounds produce by Besmite has created a rather fascinating and unorthodox defensive tactic that only the Royal is capable of utilizing. Under the right circumstances it triggers a transform unlike anything ever known! Their bodies stretch and grow, with max lengths being recorded up to 120 feet! Their appearance becomes more beastly and their physical strength intensifies tenfold, but most impressive of all is their ability to gulp large quantities of saltwater along with grit and regurgitate it as a highly pressurized waterjet. The force emitted by this defense mechanism is powerful enough to slice through anything, be it organic or metal! However such a powerful state is highly taxing on the Selkica's body, Royals will only assume this form in cases of extreme danger or emergencies.

ROYALS AND THEIR RESOUNDING STONES
A frequency created by the Besmic Object is able to trigger this "Setus form", named after the legendary monster that attempted to devour the fabled Princess Andromeda. The only thing capable of storing this "Besmic Frequency" is a Resounding Stone. Without this stone, a Royal cannot assume their Setus state. While they are many ways a Royal can obtain a Resounding Stone, there are two more common orthodox methods. The most frequent but risky would be to find a rare Besmite meteorite or swim to the underwater capital of Mu and take a piece of Besmite from the Besmic Object itself. The frequency will already have been stored onto the Besmite piece and it can be refined to a shape only the finder and those of its immediate bloodline can use. Another simpler but taxing method would be to ingest small chunks of Besmite or Besmic pebbles. The Royal's unique digestive tract produces an enzyme that coats the Besmite and hardens it into a regurgitated bezoar stone.
