From what I read about this Jihl woman (very odd name if I say so myself) as I am not a Final Fantasy fan one bit nor does XIII interest me,she sounds like she would be more compatible with Vergil than Dante as manipulative cold bitches such as her are not his type. Hell to the yeah. Finally another person who is in support with Dante/Trish as a couple. You have no idea how much this pleases me. Most fans of Devil May Cry hate this but yet I can't help but be extremely pissed off at the utter hypocrisy being displayed by the fandom.
Dante/Vergil,Dante/Nero, and any other sick disgusting yaoi combination you can of, which is incest by the way, is the in thing while Dante/Trish gets ignored which is not incest. I hate yaoi that makes straight male characters into wannabe fake gays. Same for certain yuri that does gets on my nerves.
And seriously!? I can look past that and see her as her person and not as some clone of his late mother. Plus if people are really that grossed out by that pairing then try reading through various worldwide mythologies or the Bible some time as there is a lot worse debauchery.
I apologize for the rant,but for something that is the based off the Divine Comedy,it fails to understand that Dante and Trish are meant to be.

also i've never understood why lot of people hates trish for no reason, calls her traitor and so on. maybe yes, originally she served mundus, but after that she showed herself in absolutely different light, as strong and honest person. moreover, there was even clear hint in dmc that both dante and trish have some tender feelings for each other, unlike to all these crack pairings..

Your welcome and again thanks for letting me blow off some steam. I don't have a problem with yaoi or yuri (yes people guys can hate certain aspects of it too. Not all of us straight males love everything about it okay?) that is canon or where the characters are known to be gay or lesbian.
Mainly it's the yaoi fangirls who call anyone that doesn't like their fetish a homophobe and will argue with you why such and such pairing is canon and is much much better than a straight pairing that pisses me off. I have family members who are gay and I am okay with that as I am close to them and respect them.
That's why being labeled a homophobe greatly upsets me more so than being cursed at. I don't have anything against the GLBT community and treating yaoi or yuri as the same thing as real life homosexuality is just plain wrong.
I don't like Devil May Cry yuri at all (Gloria/Trish selfcest Fuck No!!!) and I only enjoy and tolerate Resident Evil in hentai.

it's all about humans, lot of people just don't respect other's opinion whichi is different to them and start to fight around without any real reason. unfortunately it happens everywhere, not only among obsessive stubborn fangirls (or even fanboys omg), more often in RL situations(
in other way i just try to close my virgin eyes on pairings i don't like and simply avoid such delicate conflict situations. the most important thing i think is to stay cool, pay some respect and don't mess with those who don't know about tolerance and simple rights of politeness. stupid to call homophobe, gay, etc every single person even if you don't know him, so shame on them Oo
