Woot first attempt at drawing the Demon Azeal, the Lord of the Southern Quadrant.
Do you have any idea how hard it is, to draw a "red demon with black bull horns" and make him NOT look like Darkness?
thats like saying "draw a short hairy man with goat legs, but dont make it look like a satyr!"

and is THAT FACIAL HAIR? yes it is. originally it was just a nice cleft, but I decided it looked a bit like a goatee so i went with it. I think he wears it nicely. XD

He looks like a relative of Darkness (from the movie Legend, right? Is that what you were on about?)! With long hair and a goatee, plus a little armour thrown in. Is he taller or shorter, though? Looks good, btw.

yes that is correct (hes like his younger brother lol)
I dont know, how tall is darkness? O.o; I think, he would probably be shorter than darkness I think I recall Ridley Scott saying that in full costume he was nearly 7 feet tall - Azeal is 6'5" - but i dont know if that 7 foot counted his horns or not. I dont count horns when i measure my demons :/

Well, horns are just some sort of extension (or protrusion?), so yeah. They don't count for total height. Nearly 7 feet tall? Wow. Perhaps he was 6 feet and 8 inches, then. So you made a relative for Darkness? Interesting... I like that movie, Legend. They should do a sequel... or a prequel. But... would it ruin the whole thing?

Oh. Sorry. But, a sequel... hmm... or a prequel? Prequel might be better, methinks, like in Darkness's early days? Just a thought. Or some relative of Jack's, like his grandfather? Nah. Legend is a movie that has to have good triumph over evil. Sorry.

Azael is an OC that belongs to my story "The Lord of Shadows"
its just coincidence that he happens to look similar to darkness. I'm trying to get him away from that as much as i can without loosing his character's identity.
