I didn't feel like drawing my mermaid OC Mermay yet again this year for the mermaid month, so I decided to redraw an older character of mine. She's similar to a mermaid, so it still kinda makes sense!

Meet Slimaid, holding an orb of slime! She's an older character/species of my creation (much like Yoshi or Toad from Super Mario Bros, the character and species have the same name). Basically, she's a cute girl made of slime who lives in the swamp with her friends. She ain't incredibly bright, but she's friendly, so long as you don't provoke her (say, by trying to drain the water from her swamp).

I last uploaded a picture of her to Newgrounds in 2021, though the artwork is actually older than that, and the character design older still. Did you know that I came up with the concept of a Slimaid as a kid before I even knew that slime girls were already a "popular" thing on the internet? It's true!
