ReDead from The Legend of Zelda, specifically Ocarina of Time. I was originally thinking of drawing this zombie in October, but I already had far too many things I needed to draw that month... it's not a big deal posting him in November though, especially considering this is "Zelda Month". I'll probably do a couple of more Zelda monsters this month too!
Anyway... the ReDead is one of my favourite enemies in Zelda, and probably in the entirity of gaming, for one simple reason: it's SCARY; very scary, which is what a monster is supposed to be! Despite being in an (originally) E-rated game, this monster has a decrepit zombie-like appearance with hollow eyes. boney limbs, and mummified looking skin; if you get close to one, it walks towards you (ever so slowly, which makes it creepier) and if it catches you, it will bite your neck until you die; it will also screech at you to paralyse you, and worst of all are the depressing moan-like sounds they make, which echo all over the room you are in. As a kid, I uses to hear those moans in my nightmares for years...

Speaking of which, OoT is one of the few games I had to take a break from playing as a child, because I was just too scared. It wasn't until I was a couple of years older I finally braved my way through the Bottom of the Well dungeon and defeated The Dead Hand at the end. With the volume muted, of course! Damned horrifying music!
