Sandra "Sandy" Cheeks from the SpongeBob series.

If you have never watched SpongeBob before (stop what you're doing and watch the first 3 seasons now!), Sandy is an anthropomorphic squirrel scientist from Texas, who studies the sea creatures living in Bikini Bottom, including the titular Sponge (who may or may not be her boyfriend). She's a strong female character, without being a boring marysue: they don't make characters like Sandy anymore!

I suppose she is technically a "furry girl". Hmmm... but, does that make SpongeBob a furry himself, since sponges are animals, and he is anthropomorphic? What about the other characters? Is SpongeBob a furry show?
