I have gotten numerous responses to this piece, which i am very thankful for, it warms my heart. Everyone wants to know, or thinks they know what it means. Let me start by saying, the reason i dont tell people alot about my work is because i would like them to take something away from it, that affects them, deep, from their own personal experiences.
This piece is a work that helped me get through the worse time of my life. At the time, me and a girl which i loved very much, lost a child 3 months into the pregnancy. [link]
It was very hard... and i barely made it.

I had the same thing happen to me - a month further... He doesn't know. What do you think? Is it easier for you to know or would you rather you never found out? I'm struggling... It was only 2 months ago. This piece touches me... It's not grotesquely done as some that I've seen and it represents that loss very very well. It's truly great - though heartbreaking - work.

Definitely a powerful image.
I like the way the image has a dirty/grainy quality to it. Really drives home the reality of the situation. It's hard edged and sharp. The image almost cuts into your sensitivities like a white hot knife, searing your mind as you view it.
