Axo (A-ko/Xena)

Daughter of Hercules and Diana of Themyscira. Its bad enough that she has to go to this stupid bard academy, only Cabrielle makes it bearable, but since her parents divorce, her mother keeps trying to persuade her to live on an island full of chicks with her nan. This sounds insanely boring to the super-powered tomboy, who just wants to be a hero like her parents. She is the strongest, fastest girl in the academy and the academy's sports star. She can't stand the school bully, Balisto, who is always making fun of how dumb she is and trying to break up her friendship with Cabi. Balisto is arrogant, nasty, up herself and much as Axo hates to admit it... insanely hot.

Cabrielle (C-ko/Gabrielle)

Best friend of Axo, origins unknown. Cabrielle loves school, and wants to be a bard when she leaves, though she is a terrible writer and spends most of her classes doodling cute cat pictures. Sweet and innocent and insanely naïve, she in love with Axo, but still too innocent and immature to have worked out her own feelings. She just wishes Axo and Balisto would stop fighting and be friends. Balisto is always so incredibly nice to her, but Axo just gets inexplicably tongue tied and frustrated around her and threatens to punch her lights out, which makes Balisto think she's just a big dumb jock.

Balisto (B-ko/Calisto)

Adopted daughter of Aphrodite (Goddess of Love) and Hephaestus (God of the Forge) after her real parents were killed by Axo's Dad whilst trying to take over the world (unknown to Axo). As the adopted daughter of two gods, she is the popular girl in school, or at least her peers pretend to like the stuck-up, arrogant genius for the status. She is the brightest girl in the academy and spends much of her free time in her stepfather's workshop coming up with divinely powered weapons to compensate for her lack of god powers. She is insanely jealous of Axo's abilities and relationship with Cabrielle. She sees herself as more mature than the other girls, and likes to take advantage of the sweet and innocent ones, making Cabrielle her ideal woman.

And all the girls have a bit of a crush on their beautiful and brilliant teacher Mistress Sappho.
