This is the view inside the Longhouse we lived in for the weekend. ItΒ΄s located in the history park in BΓ€rnau/Tachov (Bavaria - Germany) which is a rebuilt village based on early medieval findings (there are two seperate areas, one with slavic and the other one with high medieval houses).Related content

Looks to be an excellent longhouse to reenact Early Medieval life in.

It really is amazing and completely different to markets or such. We definitely like living history in villages way more! You have much more possibilities and a whole different feeling.
