Description

Paladin:
Follows most of the same timeline as canon up until he joins the military and begins basic training. He’s built much more heavy handed than disciple Alek is, and embodies a defensive tank on the battlefield that willingly takes the first hit in order to begin his defense. A bit of a bull in a china shop but he is known to lead specialized defensive units that can dig in and endure prolonged onslaughts and instead wear the enemy down through their defense. Embodies quite a few of the classic knightly characteristics, so much so that after gifting a lady a daffodil after she fell on the dance floor at a ball, some naive and romantic nobles have tried to recreate the scene… but all he wants is to hide by the refreshments table and eat sweets while he’s off duty.

Enchanter (hyperrealism):
Instead of indulging his reckless and rebellious tendencies Alek continues working with his violin and rises to play in a large famous orchestra, traveling around the world and playing at luxurious venues. Grows shy yet vain because of the countless hours of practice alone he puts himself through and takes great pride in his skills as a violinist and has volunteered at multiple clinics to soothe patients, mostly for the public exposure. Eventually begins composing and conducting orchestras, and uses his magic to add other instruments in the background as he’s writing and figuring out how he wants the piece to sound in the early stages. Fantasia but with instruments and choir vocals instead of mops and buckets

Exorcist:
Again rather than being a little delinquent, by noble’s standards, in his teens years, Alek follows his father’s footsteps and takes up the healing arts after an avalanche catches some people and are brought to the manor in emergency need for his exorcist father’s abilities. Originally, he joins the military with the aim of disaster recovery and search and rescue units, but one thing leads to the other and eventually he’s promoted to the Imperial Guard for both his healing and refined offensive abilities with it. Very much the version of Alek that has the best bedside manner, but also looks like he’ll smack you with a broom if you injure yourself the same way again. Nowadays he’s perpetually dealing with insomnia and dark veins from his burden’s shadow.

Marauder:
In which he is a much more conniving and slimy individual, perfectly happy to exploit any form of corruption he can to continue the black market supply and demand he’s established with the nobility. From being left largely to his own devices as the fifth child of a baron, Alek flies relatively under the radar in noble circles at first, and joining the navy is much more of a flight of fancy than anything else at first. Until he meets certain corsairs and a delightful series of transactions begin. Keeping the corsairs ‘under control’ has been a successful venture for everyone involved, including those captains that have lined their pockets with his persuasion.

Okay last of the hoarded files apparently adsdssa there are some parts of these that I ended up rly liking and might— implement them into his next appdate adsaf. I’ve been wanting to do one of the Iadlish enchanted cloaks for so long I couldn’t pass it up again I had to give a sunset one to the vain mage hah
