wow. this is beautiful. Gilad was right, you are a talented photographer.

Did you PS this at all? if you did i can't notice it. I'd agree with Roie, a bit of bokeh on the wall would be nice, but then the texutre kind of adds to the context

was the monk cool withy you taking the photo? obviously at that focal length you would have been pretty close.

anyway, great stuff, and the rest of your gallery is no exception, welcome to dA Liron.

thank you for your kind words. there is not much PS here. actually only Mikon capture work, bit of "digital lightning" to make it brighter (works like shadows\highlights in PS but without the noise...).

the monk was quite coold during the shooting. about 20 photographers was taking picture of him but he kept of praying without even looking. he became quite famous because another picture of him (photographed by another photographer) was on kodak screen for the whole day (at the times square).

intersting monk.
I wish the aperture was a little wider and the monk further away from the wall so the texture would be OoF and woudn't distract the viewer.

Beautiful capture. His posture is suitable of a praying monk. ^.^ I think it is great to see pictures like this, especially from another country unknown to me. The culture has a great amount of depth to it.
