I call this the “Mizu” Rose (water) because I designed this while sitting on deck at one of my long travel swim meets. Swimming and Origami are just two big parts of my life. When I choose to do something, I enjoy it to the fullest extent. Folding origami while waiting for a swim pretty much just summed up over a decade of my life. As a testament to my love and commitment of swimming, I called it the “water” rose.
It also sounds pretty nice, too. So why not?
