Wait, wait, wait.....hooooooooolld it. Did I just draw that?!Anyway, I usually don't let people see my works until they're done but I need help and this is a special case. I can't decide on a background so I need suggestions(NOT valentine's day or girly-themed) and I want you guys to crit it. Go ahead. Butcher the snot out of it. I want it perfect! Oh, yes, and full-view it. You can download it to edit in order to demonstrate what you mean if you want, but please don't save it after that. This is meant to be special.
And before you ask, yes, the wolf's eye color should be red.

MM, besides that the wolf doesn't stand out from the back, it doesn't look too bad. Have you tried playing w/ textures?
Maybe shade the cat's neck a bit darker, so the face stands out a bit more. Plus, make sure the shine on the leather matches up with the edge of the ring; it looks a tad off. Plus, you might want to add a line of shine to the top of the leather strips, so it looks more, well, leathery. Plus the cross-thing needs color, 'cause it looks flat as well.
Be bold with your shading!
