do you know what type of sword this is? don't get me wrong, i know this is Zangetsu and i know that he's a zanpakuto, but his old form was a pesh-kebz, so i was kinda wondering what this one is. is it a cross between a pesh-kabz and an axehead or something else?

I don't know much about swords so I'm actually not sure but I think you're right.
I had a look at the pesh-kabz and it looks exactly like Zangetsu's previous form and this
new form's aesthetics looks like a pesh-kabz/axe hyrbid. This is probably based on the fact
Ichigo is a Hyrbid along with him & Zangetsu's form changing after his fullbring powers
merged with his Shinigami powers. So yeah, this pesh-kabz/axehead cross is probably
what Kubo had intended.
