Name: Wiebke (“Veeb-kay”) Albrecht

Appearance:
    ·         Height: 4'10"
    ·         Weight: Usually just under 98lbs. when not starving to death
    ·         Physical: Short, sylph of a woman, very airy and breathy. Moon-faced with big, wide green eyes and prominent cheeks. Towheaded and hanging like wispy moss just past the small of her back, usually done with some sort of braid work. Tends to look a bit young for her age.
    ·         Clothes: A long, white sundress that billows and sways like clouds blown by wind with silver sandals and black arm garments. Very fluid, light, and natural. Only makeup is usually mild black and glimmering shadows on the eyes; tends not to keep up with it enough so it smudges and trickles down usually.
    ·         Trinkets: An Opal Pendant created and given to her by her mother, as well as a silver Claddagh ring with an opal stone heart passed down through her line (maternal).

Personality:
               Quite charming and lady-like until she’s upset or uncomfortable. She’s very good at putting on a mask due to her schooling; she can be the gracious hostess, the prim and proper lady, but it tends to keep people at a distance. She has a lot of deeply seeded animosity towards people, preferring to be safe and depend only upon herself. People easily drain her and she often times can quite bluntly show it.
                She tends to have much more patience for animals and everything else that isn’t people. She habitually appreciates and reciprocates anything she takes from the natural realm (manifests in-game as a small Sanity boost when she replants trees and does any sort of gardening), often thanking the earth for providing for her.

History:
                Estranged and secluded by nature, she was bred to fear people. Her parents were quite the opposite being blue-blooded and socialite butterflies, but were overbearing which led to her childish nature as everything was done for her for quite some time. She was sheltered until their untimely deaths when she was sixteen, after which she was taken in by her ruthless godmother who expected a lot from her, considering. It was a shock and ultimately led to her being emotionally volatile and developing bad habits (self-harm, mild suicide tendencies…) due to her inability to reciprocate.
                After a point, the only things that brought her peace were her books, drawings, and magick. Connecting with the natural world “purified” her negative energies and she quickly took up trying to perform and create spells. She built up a large collection of rocks and minerals, herbs, candles, and so forth. She attempted multiple times to hex her godmother with mixed results. Much to her surprise, she was even permitted to have a little white Ragdoll kitten. Her godmother believed caring for the cat would teach her life lessons.
                Sometime after being taken in by her godmother and finishing up high school, she was enrolled into finishing school in an attempt to combat her awkward and introvert habits with lessons on etiquette and social procedures.
              Later, she was allowed to pursue arts, quickly falling in love with piano and developing a greater skill level in her drawings. Incidentally, her admission in the prestigious art school got her away from her godmother, which improved her mental condition. She was safe to find a doctor to help with the rest, free of the blow to status it would otherwise cause her family.
                Of course, life doesn’t just magickally get better. She had a flat alone, a garden outside the building, all the company she could ever need with Dagda, and had matured just enough to support herself and her freedoms, but every encounter after the other with people was just one more assurance that there was something wrong with her. Even after almost two years of trust and consistent sessions and improvements with her doctor, she was met with an overstepping of boundaries and a ruined relationship that was supposed to be safe for her.
Special Skills:
    ·         Opal Pendant – Can grant a duration of invisibility while draining Hunger. Unless disengaged, it will continue to drain until there is nothing else to drain. (Hunger, then Health)
    ·         Gains a small sanity boost for gardening and replanting.
    ·         Haphazard boosts and drawbacks when attempting spells.
    ·         Resistant (though not immune) to overheating and wetness due to her flowing dress, but is very vulnerable to the winter chill.
Headcanons:
    ·         As a child, Wiebke read one of her mother’s books about rocks and minerals, and it had told her that opal was thought to grant the holder invisibility. So, when she was afraid or upset she would hold onto her opal pendant and pretend nobody could see her.
