I really suck at titles.

Anyways - The wizard Howl from Howl's Moving Castle with a nice glowy fire that might be Calcifer the fire demon.

Been meaning to draw him for a while but decided to finally do it in memory of Diana Wynne Jones, odd as that sounds.

I feel partially guilty for using Miyazaki's design for this since the movie and book are so different from each other. But Howl's design in the anime worked very well I felt, I just decided on a more somber palate swap for the occasion.

4x6 Watercolor and pencil on cold press watercolor paper. I got curious and picked up a small watercolor block and am so far really liking the convenience since I never got the hang of stretching watercolor paper.
