Really stunning. And suprising. Makes you wonder if he maybe respected his children - though being his enemies - they worked their way up there. His has this proud father smile.

Hey thanks for sharing your thought on the art. Yeah, no matter what he was still the father of the children. I often think he had this inner struggle between being a father & a Sith lord at the same time. So maybe, there was a time when Darth Vader somehow temporarily escaped from the dark side & posed like this to be painted for a sentimental purpose?
