A nice full body shot of my tentaspy costume. If you want more details on making of it go here: [link]I worked like a dog for 3 weeks before Otakon and got this baby done. SO HAPPY. 320 suckers, 8 huge tentacles, almost 100 yards of tulle for stuffing, and airbrushed made-from-scratch webbed gloves and custom made vest. Also Scarecrow fangs and face makeup to complete the monstery-blue-pale look.

This inspired me more to work on Tentaspy.
I took the directions from your Cosplay.com, and I'm going to make one like this. But could you tell me how to make your mask? And like, help me with this entire thing step by step? It's okay if you can't. n___n;
I had a totally different idea for this, but then I saw yours and i was like "I HAVE TO DO THIS. THIS WAY." Because of how amazing it is.

Oh yeah, of course I would. I plan on cosplaying my OC Tentaspy as well; so it'll look a bit different from yours (The only similarities to be honest is the color scheme. Except mine has markings on his tentacles, so.)

And I LOVE how you did your hands/gloves, -perfect- addition to the fins on the back of the forearms!
(was it mind-meltingly humid in there this year? It sure was last year, and we were NOT in costume!)
Since when do scarecrows have fangs?
(I've never had much luck with halloween fangs, maybe this year?)

The gloves I made with spandex - they go up to my upper arms under my shirt cuffs, the lighter skin tone of the gloves matches my made up face. I airbrushed on all the dark color and glued on the claws. The fins were sewn into the glove seam, thanks! Yea I love them they really help add that fishyness
It was hot as BALLS. So many photo-shoots were moved inside, including ours. It was easily 90-100 degrees all weekend. In the areas with lots of bodies/windows it was pretty hot inside too if you were in a big costume.

Amazingly done! The way you designed the leggings is really ingenious; you can't really tell where your legs are without knowing how the outfit was built!

All about careful placement of the tentacles around my hips and standing right! I tried to be on tip toe much as I could for photos (not in this one tho sadly) as it hid the large bend where my ankle was. The way I tapered the tips off my feet, and sized all the tentacles to be the same as my legs, helped hide them too. Also, the wire in all the tips made them look lively.
