In the manga for Skyclan(spoilers for After the Flood), I was super mad at Leafstar for getting all hissy at Billybean when all he did was try to help.

LEAFSTAR HAS PROBLEM NAMING CATS. Here, see those names: Billystorm, Harveymoon, Macgyver, Snookthorn, Harrykit ... Uugh, bad. It should've been like the regular cats, Fireheart, Rainwhisker, etc. She should change all of their names.... Leafstar doesn't know that if her Clan had been with the other four clans, how other clans would've seen her as weak (daylight warriors, for example!)

Well, that was sort of the point of SkyClanβs Destiny: SkyClan is NOT part of the other clans. Itβs ways are different because a) Almost every current SkyClan cat was not BORN a SkyClan cat, so they have different ideas for naming than the Lake Clans, b) They live in a different environment and are developing in a different way, with more influence from kitty pets for example, c) They are making their own way and in some ways are freer than the lake clans, as they are not so bound by generations-old tradition.
