my other Sols are soooo lame compared to this one
but Sol is such a weird character physically, it makes sense i would have to make more than one attempt. on warriors wiki they describe him as a a mixed tabby tortie, which is weird cuz male cats are normally not tortie, but whatever... i really like how this one turned out^^warriors: erin hunter

As ~LordShadowDragon explained.. kinda.. The female has XX, the male has XY. I'm not sure which order but black carries on the X and red carries on X also. This cause's males to be born with either the black X or red X, not both because their's only one. With a female who has XX, she can carry both and they mix/mash in and create a Torti. For a male to be a Tortie he whould have to be a mutant (having XXY chromosome) which also makes them sterile lol
