[ Motherly] Redfawn takes her role as a mother very seriously. She may not be a queen at the moment, but she loves taking care of kits. She’ll give mothering advice to anyone who asks. Before Redfawn had kits she didn’t think about them much, but since she had a litter of her own she thinks much more about them. One of her favorite jobs is to kitsit for other queens.
[ Compassion] Compassion goes paw in paw with her motherly trait. Redfawn has had a desire to take care of those in need as far back as she can remember. This trait led her to care for her mate Lionleap. She could see that he carried not only physical wounds, but mental wounds, from his harsh father. While Lionleap could have a sharp tongue, Redfawn knew he could also be very caring.
[ Understanding] Redfawn is someone who is happy to listen to others’ problems and help them out if she is able. She does not judge harshly and tries her best to be unbiased. This trait can sometimes be negative because she’ll give others the benefit of the doubt even if they’re undeserving, but that doesn’t happen often. She has to know a cat fairly well to be very understanding; if you’ve never talked to her before she won’t sugarcoat her thoughts as much.
[ Too Trusting] Because Redfawn likes to give others the benefit of the doubt, she could be swayed to believe things that aren’t true. She likes to think everyone has some good in them and that everyone means well. She’s never had to deal with betrayal but if she had to it would be very difficult for her.
[ Feelings easily hurt] If you hurt Redfawn’s feelings expect her to take a while to warm back up to you, if ever. While she might be understanding, she also does her best to not hurt others’ feelings, so if someone hurts her she doesn’t have much sympathy for them. She is so optimistic that she expects everyone to be as kind as she is, which could easily lead to disappointment.
[ Prone to heartache] Redfawn cares so much about her family that if anything were to ever happen to them she wouldn’t know how to go on. When Dandeliontuft and Raywhisker disappeared and were thought to have been dead, she lost weight and spent a lot of time grieving for them. Neither of them were related to her by blood, but Raywhisker was her adopted son and she considered Dan as a son too. Thankfully they reappeared, but Redfawn then knew how devastated she could become from the loss of loved ones.

Talents: Because she can sympathize so easily with others, she can often tell how others are feeling without even talking to them. This talent is especially helpful to the leader and deputy because she can let them know how certain clanmates are feeling.
Flaws: While her caring trait is usually seen as positive, she would find it difficult to fight young cats in battle. It’s just a good thing that kits are never allowed in battle, or else she’d be useless.

[kithood] Redkit was born alongside one brother(Wolfkit) and a sister(Softstep). Right before she was made an apprentice she, her siblings, and her mother were attacked by a fox in the nursery. Redkit and all her siblings were safe, but their mother died fighting to protect them. The fox ran off, and when their father arrived he was heartbroken. He dedicated the rest of his life to protecting his kits.
[apprenticeship] Redpaw trained extra hard, feeling partly guilty because she hadn’t been able to fight like her mother against the fox. Through her time as an apprentice she gained a little crush on Lionleap, who had recently been made a warrior. He was strong and brave and she admired him a great deal. Redpaw never thought she’d be brave enough to admit her feelings though, so she didn’t approach him until after she was a warrior. After her training she was named Redfawn and she hoped her mother could see how much she had achieved.
[warrior] Redfawn felt so proud to be a warrior. She fought her first battle against Tideclan. Her father fought alongside her, but was gravely injured. Thornshade died later that day from his injuries. The young Redfawn was deeply struck by this. She hadn’t been a warrior longer than 2 moons, and she’d just lost her father. She became even closer to her siblings, looking for comfort in their company. Later on in her warrior life she started talking to Lionleap. He began to reciprocate her feelings of affection and the two became mates soon after. Redfawn then had three kits: Rowankit, Poppykit, and Sandkit. Not long after that the clan discovered three kits that had been orphaned. She adopted them as her own. Her kits are now warriors and she currently spends her time defending her clan and helping to care for any kits that are born.

Redfawn walked alongside Agatestep with a tentative smile on her face. Her friend might seem cold to others, but Redfawn could see through her hard exterior. The only reason Agatestep came off as harsh was because she’d gone through so much. Redfawn trusted this cat with her life, and treasured the friendship they had. Agatestep looked sidelong at her and raised an eyespot, “What?”
“Nothing,” mewed Redfawn innocently, “I was just thinking… that I’m lucky to have you as a friend.”
“Pssh,” snorted the silver cat, “Don’t go all sentimental on me.” Agatestep turned her face away so Redfawn couldn’t see her expression, “I’m lucky to have you too.”
