how did you make the art blend into the deviant art background ?

what art program do you have?
if you have photoshop, all you have to do is delete the bottom-most layer (usually titled background layer; you may have to unlock it first to delete it^^)
if you have a program like corel painter that won't let you delete the background layer, you can screenshot your computer while on dA (by pressing the keys marked "FN" and "PRTSC" at the same time. you can then copy and paste the screenshot on a file in your program, eyedrop the background color of dA, then use it to fill in the background of whatever piece you're working on ^^

Hmm. This one is tricky. The posture and the slightly narrowed eyes refers to Whitestorm more, but then again that is just my opinion. I also like how you position the shoulders. Felines have different anatomy than humans or canines. Well done.
I also see you gave Silverstream the markings of a classic tabby. I just happen to own an orange one.
