Truly, Thistleclaw only became evil when Snowfur died. And then, Bluefur took Whitekit away which then, he had no one. So loneliness pretty much took him over, because his family was token away. Then he wanted power, and revenge, since everyone he loved was either dead, or token away.

Exactly. Maybe Thistleclaw should've been let into StarClan if Ashfur was let into StarClan. No matter how bad Thistleclaw's crimes were, they couldn't be as bad as attempted murder on four cats just because of rejection by a love interest. If Thistleclaw deserved the dark forest, Ashfur should've gone to the Dark Forest, too. And besides, I think Thistleclaw could've been a better cat if he hadn't lost Snowfur. :/

I love how he is drawn. Especially the white marks on his head and shoulders, I always wondered how they exactly looked like, and this pretty much clears it up for me.
