have you read the manga??? if not you should, its worth it - theres a whole ass alternate ending to it, and the ending is way less lousy (im not 100% fond of it but theres definitely a lot more)

i havent though but ive been interested!! i dont know what the ending is in the anime yet but im going to take your word on it that its lousy so i might look into reading it if im not satisfied with the ending... im not super big into reading manga or anything, but i did go through a bit of reading the black butler manga so i could def get into reading other mangas if i put my mind to it

yeah!! though umm... i dont want to push anything onto you and if you headcanon crona as male its all ok, but canonically, their gender is unknown! most english subs just pick he or she based on what the person translating them thinks, there havent been any gendered pronouns used for crona in the japanese original! if youve known that im sorry though alhsdfsdkk i just like sharing info about things i like

oooohhhhhhh ok! i rarely read the manga as well but with soul eater it was worth it for me. its the same as the anime up to chapter like... 60 i think? and then its all different since the anime came out when the manga wasnt finished yet
i didnt mind the ending of the anime much but in comparison with the manga it definitely is a bit lousy and theres a lot more story in the manga
