like most of the other commentors say, the upside down flippy thing makes the eye look sad and melancholy, though im curious to see what it looks like right side up. this photo makes me want to draw eyes, though admittedly, i do all the bloody time.

it's straneg how reversed the eye seems so sad, like desperatly sad, like falling and knowing it won't go back. But in the same time the light make it look like it's still looking to the sun, to the hope, makes it look like a cradle of light.
... well, a way to recycle your old eye shots : flick them upside down

yeah i like looking at usual shots from different angles, the whole feeling might change sometimes.. especially when it comes to eyes
for a little while i kept seeing it as a reversed eye
but then it started to become a new eye, looking down with much different feeling
so, yes. give them old eye shots a try

I like how you've flipped the axis like you have. kind of gives it a melancholy feel.

yes exactly. the neutral eye had its meaning flipped too
shifted actually, you can't flip neutral i think

flipped, shifted...I simply felt like I had to flip myself in order to see the photograph rightly. haha.

the meaning...flipped? do tell.

hmm, i said 'meaning' didn't i.. i meant feeling actually. the feeling the original eye gives is shifted when the image is flipped..
look for a little more, after a while you get used to the image and see the eye as it is, not flipped. just with the longer eyelashes below the eye
that's a completely new eye with a much different feeling. that's what i meant

yes I do see. I liked it...shifted. very nice of course. and I agree the feeling is altered. more melancholy, like I said originally. : )
