Description
I am keeping a journal in pictures, they say more.I hope to submit them here when I can, but they're mostly just for me. The editing style is a tribute to the eerie beauty of lomography, which I have not the resources to explore yet. I don't give up on and forget about this project, as I have so many others, I hope to have them printed in a little book for myself some day.
These images have been collected over the last few months and more or less illustrate things as they are in my world right now; a home, a family, dusk, dawn, beer and love.

You capture everything so splendidly like this... and you've got that feel and ideal going with it... you don't hardly have to spend a thing to get that lomo feel though...
Going truly lomo try a second hand junk shop and pick up the crappiest, cheapest or cutest camera there, or the one that feels right or has the best vintage look... something with like a simple lens or fixed focus or an old kodak folder... Just make sure it takes either 35mm or 120 (not 620 which is 120 on a funny little metal spool and unavailable) and do everything just like you have been... and get out of date film on the cheap... it'll be hazier and colours not as saturated.

Lomo is good though stupidly expensive, which to me says that someone out there is missing the whole point.
This is a perfect example of the shoot first ask questions later approach that is the lomo way. You have shown the everyday in art as well as exploring your own thoughts on your life. Thank you for sharing it with us all.

Thank you for being ever so encouraging. As regards vintage film cameras, I spotted the most beautiful polaroid camera on ebay last week for pactically nothing, with a rainbow on it and everything, and it seemed like the best idea I'd ever had, until I realised how much the film costs, sheesh. Everyone talks about digital making film photography history, polaroids are much loved by many, if they made them a little more accessible and produced some sort of indie-girls based marketing ploy they could make a mint! fools should've put me in charge... No, I mean, I agree, I want to feel it spontaneous and challenging again, it's hard when you know you can just take it again and again until it's right, and then jiggle it around on photoshop after.

As you said Polaroid cameras are scary because you only get that once chance to take that photo. And alas it looks to become more expensive as Polaroid have ceased production of their film. It is a sad time indeed when we realize that the digital age really is upon us.
Something I have started doing is shooting on the same roll of film twice. Its fun and you can get some rather interesting and surprising effects. Its all about experimentation with what is available to you. You are doing awesomely so keep it up.
