It's confirmed, Nomura has confirmed it, as well as I am aware. He's even featured in Union x's (an official kh app game) loading screen and story. In fact Japan's last update gave us some pretty deep character development with him.

I finally finished it and I am honestly really disappointed. It was a good game, fun mechanics, super smooth, loved seeing everyone again, beautiful overall... but at the same time I'm hella mad about lots of stuff. MARLY BEING ONE OF THEM.

I mean, I adored KH3. It fully closed all plot points regarding Dark Seeker stuff.
(I really hope no one reads this that hasn't beaten the game yet, but it's been a while, and I'm tired of avoiding talking about it. xD)
I like how the Organization members actually get recompleted! As you can see, Isa comes back after being defeated, so I'm sure Lauriam will somehow return in the next chapter!
Really, everything that was left unfinished in KH3 is just leading to the next title since pretty much all the old scenarios are wrapped up!
The ONLY thing that I could say is I wish some characters got more screen time (AKA pretty much all the trios except Sora, Donald, and Goofy. And I guess Riku since he was a main. But that's my baby. xD) But if Axel, Kairi, Aqua, Ven, Terra, Roxas, Xion, AND FUCKING NAMINE had more screen time it would be amazing. xDΒ
But the ending itself? OH MY GOD DID I CRY LIKE A BABY. xD
