Hopefully with the release of DMC4SE, we can finally get more info on Nero's back story. Find out exactly where he comes from, and his association to Sparda, and ability to use the Yamato.

That is just a popular fan theory that people have mistaken for canon
fun fact: in the original draft of the story, it was supposed to be revealed that Nero was an unsuccessful clone of Vergil, after the Holy Order having gotten some of Vergils DNA while in the city. Vergil doesn't even know Nero exists.
however due to time restraints, that aspect of Nero's backstory was cut for time.

Ah, I see. I simply assumed he was the son of Vergil due to their similar hair style, his ability to activate what seems like part of the Soul of Vergil in his devil trigger, and the fact he can use the Yamato.

yeah, he can do all those things because hes an unsuccessful clone of Vergil, at least according to the scraped storyline that they had to cut. they could have very well changed his back story from that though, we will just have to wait and see.
but also, remember one important detail: Vergil and Dante are 16 during the events of DMC3, meaning that in order to 'sire' Nero, he'd have had to impregnate a woman while under age. that thought in an of it self is kinda ... nasty ...

I do not think that in part 3, twins 16, rather 18-19, Lady is probably 16-17;
on account of the fact that Nero's son Vergil, this is confirmed in the manga, as well as judge for yourself if Vergil was before the events of the 3 in Fortuna, what it turns out there were 6 years old? But it looks at least 18 years more in the prologue is to talk about it.
Finally, not where I have not seen the information about what a bad Nero- clone of Vergil ....
