the front cover gave me some headaches...the black/gray gradient looked strange..like was made from lines..dunno how to explain,and still they appear if you look at download..even if i rendered it as *.png with transp back and tried a b&w gradient with ps..
the back cover was a lucky "discover",tried for the first time the "clone" mapping.

I worked a lot at it,didn't thought i'll finish it till 15.
i was a little sad,because i realized i don't have the params of May and July,just variations of them...especially July since is my fav...

That is why I never did a calendar last year. I had all the pix ready and then my pc shit out on me so I lost half the year and homework for the UF class. I have not been the same since with artwork. Sux but I'm trying to get back.

I wish i could do the UF class too,but right now i cannot afford to upgrade to 5...even if i could,my pc is so old that the Generic coloring formula works very slow,as if i play with a 30+ layers fractal..*sigh.Probably after i change my pc,i'll be able to make some changes too.Which class did you do?
I'm sure you'll get back the way you where before,is impossible to stop loving and beeing loved with/by Uf !

I will be honest with you, I took the working with UF class, had fun and learned stuff. It was really helpful. I took the Masking class and learned quite a bit more which was helpful too. Then I took the third class, should not have done that one. I did not enjoy it as much, it was kinda weird cause they wanted us to keep a journal of everything we did on every piece. I don't remember sometimes what I used and what kind of flow could you have writing while you do it? That class kinda ruined me in several ways. If you are a person worried about perfect location for the eye, the perfect colors that work together and stuff... by all means go for it. If you are a point and click and just go with the flow kinda gal... it won't work for ya. I haven't enjoyed it the same since.

Hm.In the matter of fact the last one i was more interested with...(I know i still got a LOT to learn not only of masking..)
But keeping a journal..you must be kidding me.I the last months,i've transformed into a "perfectionist" freak,i work >3days at a fractal-i keep it as wallpaper,while working at it, for few days just to see what's missing/wrong,most got more then 20 layers...and i work pretty chaotic too.I love functions,if i find something that look good,i duplicate layer and start:sin,sqr,sqrt...bla bla,then i try the main formula's ones,or other from oca to see if i got something better. Sometimes is hard even for me to go back at the "duplicate layer" point,although to keep a journal while i'm doing this...but i'm not gonna change my style,that's how i improved myself,understood how some formulas work,and especially got more then 1200 params...*sigh

That was the hardest for me. I cannot sit and work on an image and stop here and there to write it down. And sometimes i just get into my flow and I forget how i got there. there were a few things i was like "huh" but at the same time janet was doing shows and things and didnt really have the time to help individuals. maybe someday I will try again so I can understand it and say i completed it, but who knows. I will always be honest with you about anything, that's what friends do. you work similar to me cause I do the same thing with functions and stuff. Have 15 layers with just a touch of difference or a whole lot of difference but i get duplicate happy.
