Description So I'm finally starting to share story details about Get a Horse that will make way for future comics and illustrated anecdotes. You might have to download the file to see it full view

Get a horse takes place in a fantasy-like world, only the world is not so fantasy like. In fact, the world is currently undergoing a second industrial revolution, with many of the past fantasy races(Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, etc.) having disappeared due to supposed extinction. The current major races in Get a Horse are as follows;

Throgans: A bipedal rabbit-like race, but with a longer neck and about half the height of humans. Tendency to say "Nyeh" a lot. Throgans are easy to tolerate, but they can sometimes be direct and sassy. Not at all anthropomorphic rabbits, they insist.

Shaffies: As throgans are like rabbits, shaffies are like sheep. About 2/3 the height of humans. Shaffies can be quite authoritative at times, and prefer that everybody mind their own business. Not at all anthropomorphic sheep, they insist.

Buttakos: A pig-like race, only stockier and with beady eyes. Their mouths are covered by a flap of bulgy skin. About 3/5 the height of humans. Buttakos are hard-workers ranging from dim-witted to dangerous thinkers.

Humans: Nothing special about them.

Capards: A spry race almost like humans, but with duck-like webbed feet and legs. Slightly taller than shaffies. Shorter than humans. Good at swimming, running not so much.

Flysirs: Bat-like Harpys, only with smaller bodies and thinner legs. Slightly taller than capards. Shorter than humans. Capable of medium-distance flights, but very fragile and insecure creatures.

Durgans: Mountainous bulky human-like sub-giants, only with square ears. Like name suggests, very durable. A proud, brash race that's known for its strength. (Physical, not intellectual.) They weren't very good friends with the elves, when elves were around.

Shuggites: A very tall and skinny swamp-based humanoid. Muddy complexion and can be off-putting in general sometimes. Keeps to themselves. They have disturbing eating and smoking habits. They get along well with the durgans, most of the time.

Centaurs: A proud half-man, half-horse race. There are many variants of centaur types. Being the last remaining "old" race, centaurs are often highly-valued in society, as long as their large bodies aren't in the way.

Delfinaids: Human-like dolphin race. Because fishy-bodied mermaids couldn't work in this world's biology. Mammals all the way. They tend to stick close to coastlines and riverbeds.

Scolopendradas: Centipede-like things. Don't participate in society much, due to their appearance. Levels of participation have been slowly rising though. Maybe venomous. They have reasons to be suspicious of everyone, and everyone has reasons to be suspicious of them. Good friends with shuggites.

So that's what I have for now. Any questions will try to be answered as best they can. I'm sorry if this is confusing.

I like your Delfinaids; this kind of merfolk make more sense to me than the more popular piscine sort.

An all mammal delfinaid also seems more plausible and adapted to underwater life than a mermaid thats just half fish and half human.

Exactly.
Just because ancient mariners didn't know the difference between fish and marine mammals is no reason for us to perpetuate their mistakes.

Nifty nifty!  Wonder what you've got in mind for all these sundry critterfolks.
