I had so much fun with this shoot, it is the first of many where I'm starting to get more creative control over my shoots and come up with some new concepts. I wasn't 100% happy with the make up, I dislike whiteface or corpse paint at the best of times and this made me consider not uploading this as a finished piece. But I do plan on redoing this shoot correcting what I did wrong the first time and making everything neater and better!

I super super love the black designs that are across the forehead. Is that makeup or a kind of fabric-y lace?

She used lace across my forehead and dabbed black face paint over it, like a stencil. It worked rather well but I don't know if it suited the theme :s Glad you approve though!

Sooo....the design thats on your face is actually pretty much stenciled from the lace? Wicked! :3 I think it adds a nice bit of contrast to your face, and somehow it seems to suit with the necklaces.

I think it worked out rather well considering. It was an odd contrast between this delicate dignified sort of princessy thing and something slightly more possessed and sinister! Compliments and constructive criticism is always welcome on any of my photos, so thank you!
