Colored Pencil 11"x14"

I've never even dreamed of doing a colored portrait before. I was so afraid that I would get the skintones wrong or just make a mess of mixing the colors. So, when my 10 year old sister asked for this colored portrait of Taylor Swift I was super apprehensive. However, I pushed through and discovered that I truly like color more. Black and white has its place for some things, but I just had too much fun with the challenge that color gave me and how the drawing seemed to come alive with every layer.

So, here's to you sis, I love you and hope you like it.
