Description
Even in the face of devastation, there is hope.--
Disko the six-legged Earth dragon. c:
I started this painting a long time ago and I don't think I captured my original vision as well as I would have liked. I think I may revisit this painting some day, but for now I thought I'd share it instead of keeping it locked away on my hard drive...

Oh I really like your drawing.
It's so fanciful and makes me start dreaming.
I love the colurs you Chose, they're creatic that specific magical and mysterious atmosphere.
Your drawing style is also very beautiful and I adore the way you drew the creature's fur.
Very well done, you did a very good Job!

Absolutely stunning picture! The atmosphere from all the lighting is so perfectly melancholy and real. Beautiful work.

Nice detailing on the face and body Can I ask, what's the lighter background? Is it lighter clouds, or landscape? Sort of matches the foreground shades, so just wondering

Thank you!
I originally intended for that lighter area to be a break in the clouds, the sky beyond. I don't think I portrayed that very well...

You are a fantastic artist, and the sky is totally believable for me-I'm mostly a landscape artist and have seen that sky so very often here in new england...the fairy dust and other break in the clouds are perfect, not too overstated...this painting perfectly descibes my legal situation right now!

Ahhhhh ok I figured as much. I'm not sure how I'd do it.... the surrounding clouds darker? No idea

The dragon is so beautiful, but, aww, it is so sad to think of why he might be so very sad

I'd liked to be able to see the end of the dragon's tail. :c But the dragon is so unique and the coloring so great, I can't believe this doesn't have more favs
