Description *yawn* I don't see how you do can draw a dinosaur so well, this probably was started at 9 something, now it's 10:25!

Any tips or suggestions?

Hey, that's a good start!
I like the details you've done, especially the detail of the eye. ^^ And, what a toothy smile!

As for some suggestions, perhaps having the teeth all face one direction - typically, all downward, although there are a few crazy-toothed creatures out there, such as this guy o3o . So far as teeth go, some people draw dinosaurs with exposed teeth, while others (such as myself) draw them with "lips" that hide their teeth, but, last I heard, no one has had any scientific certainty on if they had "lips" or not, so it can go either way. xD Personally, I think the exposed teeth look would get that ferocious style you're looking for!

Keep it up!

Thanks!

And the makosaurous, I'm sure it was called when I clicked the link, that's... scary looking, lol, I like it. I wasn't really sure about the teeth truly, whenever I drew them as a kid, I had the same problem, and 'lips' seem like a good solution. I'll try a few more styles with the mouth, and... any tips on making it semi-realistic looking for the skin?

Thanks again for the suggestions!!

You're welcome!

Yeah, it is a pretty scary looking creature... I definitely wouldn't want to come up on one, if they were still living. XD
That sounds like a plan. ^^ This is a good lips vs no lips picture, credit to Jurassic Park.
For the skin, even I struggle with that one. XD I tend to add lines and other little details where the skin might be folded or loose, such as around the back the of jaw or neck. This picture here is a drawing of mine that kinda shows those little details:

His top and bottom jaw were broken at one time, and didn't grow back right, so that's why he's gotta funny looking face. xD

I hope that helps!

xD He looks amazing, I'd probably keep him as a pet if he were friendly. And yeah.. I wouldn't wanna come across that scary dinosaur at all either.

I see the detail too, thanks yet again. You're so sweet and thanks for bearing with me! xD

What program do you suggest with drawing? At the moment all I have is Muro and Pixlr (used to have Scratch too), I'm looking for a decent program to draw, any suggestions?

Hehe xD

No problem! I'm happy to help out, though I'm certainly not expert and I have so much room to continue growing on my details. ^^ It's always a learning process. X)

I used to use Photoshop Elements 11, because it came free on my computer years ago, but I've just switched over to a new program called FireAlpaca, and it is 100% free. There is no catch to it, no free trial; it's just a free art program, and it is a really, really good program. I've seen great improvement in my lineart abilities in doing it, and it also makes coloring faster and easier. The program is also pretty streamlined and very user friendly. I highly recommend it!

Oh alright!! Thanks for the help!!

And, yes.. drawing is one of those things you just continue and continue to learn about, lol. I've heard about FireAlpaca before, but I never downloaded it 'cause I  have a old computer on which I reply to messages and sometimes draw on (R.I.P) but on my mother's laptop I can't download anything, she just doesn't want to clutter her laptop, I'll be buying my laptop sometime when I get some TMNT figurines sold.  (Wish me luck with that, my mom doesn't wanna help price 'em).

It's nice getting to talk to you, I'll be attempting dinosaurs again soon! xD

You're welcome!

I hope the laptop hunt goes well! I wish I could make a recommendation, but I've only had one laptop, which is the one I'm using now, and I've loved it since I got it, but they don't make them anymore. D: I'm gonna have to replace it soon, but I can't get an exact copy. xD

It has been wonderful talking to you, as well! I can't wait to see some more dino work!
