This is going on the comic's website because those people do not have a journal to consult when I stop posting and they're probably wondering where the hell I went. Nevermind that I left a link to DA on the site...If comicgen had a decent dashboard I could write news there but I'll be damned if I know how to get a serviceable newsbox on there, let alone edit it periodically. I hate html.
Aren't they just adorable? I'd like to take them home with me!

Well, serves him right for never taking that stupid hat off. Ancient Egypt hats were utterly stupid, I have no delusions about that. Stupid and way too big. How would you walk through a door without knocking that off? Kings can't bow their heads for any reason, let alone to get through a door. Did they just have giant doors?

Well first off... It's about the egyptian gods. That is so goddamn awesome. A webcomic... about the egyptian gods.... YEAH! And it has Set as like... one of the main characters. Set. The amazing Set. HELL YEAH! And it's actually good! A good webcomic about the egyptian gods. How cool is that? And it's funny! It has humour yet still has a story you want to follow. which is... AMAZING! I love you for making this comic. Pure genius.

This is so cute! XD Poor Nephy doesn't get much in the way of attention, does she? She's always neglected. I don't think I've ever seen any music written for her/ about her but always music is written for the other gods. If I could be a musician I'd so remedy that. *hugs for Nephy~*
When my friend's comic was on ComicGenesis we had a Iframe with a Livejournal embedded onto the website. She/I would update the LJ and it would show up on the website. We moved to SmackJeeves though because CG is lame. They have a spot for actual news updates on the website. Have you checked it out for a possible host?

Smachjeeves, eh? If they have a newsbox that sounds great. I've forgotten my LJ password from never using the thing. CG is really beginning to get on my nerves for various reasons, not the least of which being that their FTP server is older than, well, RA. XD It needs HELP!
Also, I plan to make Nepthys a very, very important character- she's long overdue for that. ^^

Yeah part of the reason we left CG was because you couldn't do anything with their.. whatever it was that let you manually update comics when you updated past our auto update point since we were late often. -,-; So far Smackjeeves has been very wonderful. They have premade layouts so you don't even have to worry about layouts if you don't want to. All they don't have is any space for like other pictures other than comic pages. So if you had fanart pages or wanted a cast page with pictures you'd have to upload them to a photobucket. But it's pretty simple and nice. People can even leave comments on the comic pages as well as the author can leave a comment. News box also has a comment feature. Very cool.

The only thing I don't think SJ has, at least, since I haven't bothered to look hard enough, is FTP access. I upload all the comics by hand.

I'm switching to smackjeeves. It wasn't a hard sell. XD I can't always be calling in friends who know html to write my website for me. It's stupid and it wastes their time. Yay templates and newsbox! And a much simpler password system!

CG's html tag system was a fucking pain. I hated it with a seething passion. It made making webpages horribly more complicated than they should have been. Had I been working with plain HTML, I could have built my friend's comic on CG in half the time it actually took me. Grrrr
