This picture came to be cuz... well...I felt like drawing something tim-burton-ish!
I own the dvd for corpse bride, and I htought it was an awesome movie. At first tho, I wanted to draw Jack Skellington (from the nightmare before christmas) becuase he's got that whole I'm-evil-but-at-the-same-time-good thing going on. Plus, he's from The Nightmare before christmas, which is pretty much my titel (I was born before christmas [dec.24] and can act like a nightmare, and the movie and I both came into this world in '93)
hahaha, but enough about that. I'm in a phase (ish) were my art is changing a little bit. Which is why I haven't been updating much. It all looks really weird right now (my art) I've been influenced for a week (ish) now by Jhonen Vasquez, FSc, and (as always) Arina Tenamura (who else canot wait for the Gentlemans Alliance???)

This is really pretty, but it should be "break" not "brake". I really like how you used only a little blue in the whole piece. It keeps it nice and simple.

Hm I was always looking at corpse bride pics and most of them showed her having some spunk...I didn't see any spunk in Emily in the movie! Yours really captures the true emotion

Jhonen Vasquez is amazing. He influenced me for a while too, until I realized that I'm not that good at drawing his style. XD; (I did draw a few decent looking robots, though. I suppose that's a plus.)
