Just an example of how Ingrid's childhood was!Ingrid was about 9 here
Her parents Nergal (Krampus) and Vera have been married for 9 years at this point, but it was never about love.
Ingrid constantly witnessed her father abuse her mother...she was scared of him.
Nergal only married Vera for her beauty, and is practically INCAPABLE of loving and respecting a woman.
They fought all the time, had trust issues, and Nergal was never emotionally available for Vera.
He was also VERBALLY ABUSIVE, and had complete control of Vera's life
There was a point where Vera HAD ENOUGH.
She still loved him though...she still loves him TO THIS DAY!
Which is why it's hard for her and Piper to be together.
He's manipulative, brainwashing, and controlling.
Vera was pregnant with Jodie here!
She thought a baby would bring her and Nergal closer...boy was she wrong.

Poor Ingrid having to listen to all that growing up ;-; No wonder she feels a deep hatred toward her father, I certainly don't blame her! And Vera trying to fix things because she still loves him even though he's abusive toward her....sigh....I hope one day she breaks free of him for good!
