Description
My species: Owlicorns or commonly known as owlis (or owlies)I did my best to make a quick, resourceful guide, but I may have not explained everything very well, so in the description I have all the info as well.
***This species is OPEN.***
I only ask that you give me credit for the species and link this guide. And plz let me know when you're creating/making them. And please, PLEASE follow the rarity guidelines. Male owlis, and the colors white and black are all rare so I'd ask that you'd only design one of each. Or at least keep them at a ratio of 20:1.
ABOUT:
Owlis are all born from an egg; on rare occasions two owlies can be born from one egg, but this is so rare it's almost unheard of. Owlies are mostly female, but there are a few males here and there. Because there are so few, owlies tend to find their mate amongst humans. Owlies mate for life and extremely loyal (unfortunately, in some circumstances this can be an issue as they will not leave their human for anything, and sometimes they get hurt). A vast majority of humans refer to Owlies as owlicorns.
Owlis give birth to human children when they mate with their human companion.
Owlies typically adore humans and "cherish" them. But watch out as they are very jealous creatures. They all have various personalities, but they all share their jealous temperaments.
They are also very protective of their human mates and friends, so be careful not to offend! Owlies have an immense physical strength, powerful claws, and can fly!
Although owlies are very smart, they are also clueless when it comes to the human world and make many mistakes.
Owlies are an old race and have persisted into the modern age, so if you adopt an owlie they can be from any time period/era.
LOOKS:
**Owlies can be any color. Their rarity, however, is based on their colors. Bright colors are more common and the paler you get the rarer they are; white being the rarest and almost never seen.
HEAD:
-Owlies have owl horns which are really tuffs of feathers (these come in many shapes and can be on the head or ears).
-Owlies have horse ears that can be anywhere on the head.
-Owlies have a unicorn horn on their head and is always in the middle of the head where the hairline meets the skin. They also have fur surrounding the base of the horn.
-Owlies have one to five jewels embedded in their forehead around their horn. They're called jewels and look like jewels, but their smaller parts of the horn and always the same color.
-Owlies have round eyes like owls and small, dot-like eyebrows.
-Owlies have little fangs.
NECK & CHEST:
-Owlies have the same little jewels on their chest that help to form a ring around their necks with their fur.
-Owlies have fur around their neck; this is a soft fur almost like down feathers.
HANDS & FEET:
-Owlies have sharp, little claws.
-Owlies have fur on all hands and feet; this is soft fur almost like down feathers.
TAILS:
Owlies have two tails: an owl-like feather tail, and a unicorn tail.
WINGS:
-Owlies all have wings, but sadly they can be ripped or cut off by cruel people.
-Their wings are like owl wings. All wings have stripes or spots.
BODY:
-Owlies have petite, human-like bodies, except for the males who are impressively large in their muscular build.
-Owlies always have markings which can range from spots to stripes (like those found on an owl).
I have some owlis available for adoption here:
