I don't know... I like the one on the left, but the one on the right contrasts better (:

I think I like the red more because it lacks the hood showing off her pretty hair,
and the blues remind me more of suki so it spaces them more~

Awww thank you! You're so sweet! Even tho, to be honest I don't think this design will win.
It's a little too dark for the character, but I do like the design and I'm glad you do too.

XD little bird skulls~
I personally like this one, and find it privately humorous X3
I actually have a fear of birds so something wearing the skulls of birds would definitely intimidate me D:
I actually like the skulls even though I see what you mean about it maybe not fitting her.
She is likely to decorate using bone beads, but I don't know if she'd actually use the skulls...
I wouldn't put it past the males in her tribe, but would a girl ware them?
I'll have to think about that XD

Haha I'm glad you find it humorous a bit, cuz I actually do too. xD
And personally, I like it, but I'll be extremely honest and say it's not Suki. I think this design could fit a black wolf girl or something slightly different than a husky. xD
And I didn't know you have a fear of birds! D: I wouldn't have done the skulls then! >.>
I'm really weird... cuz I actually like skulls, but everyone's really surprised when I tell them that. But I definitely think they fit the darker characters. xD
But I'm going to do another summer one most likely! I'll give it one more shot!

I love skulls to, they are very interesting ^^
I know it's kind of morbid but bones are something personal, it's as deep as you can ever see a person or animal and still recognize them for what they were.
From bones you can tell about their life struggles. If you're talented in the department of skulls you can even reconstruct the face of a person or animal and see the most common face they has (sad, happy, brooding ect). I don't think there is anything more telling about a dead person the there bones. though I guess buarial clothing and location may be close runner ups...but they are no where as intament.
Also don't feel bad about my fear of birds~
It's not quite phobia level any more >.>;
When I was a kid I Some how had some bad luck and ended up being attacked on a few diffrent ocassions by diffrent birds.
I've mostly gotten over it but large birds still make me feel uneasy.
Honestly I've even gotten a respect for birds of prey and a small somewhat growing love of finches.

ok... now that I've bothered you a million times!!! xD I took out the skulls... I thought that might be better. So for now you can just ignore the stash redo and all that. And this will just be my other summer submission for now.

Ok so here's the redone version I'm hoping doesn't look like Suki....... It might have problems so you might need to zoom in. Or at least I did to see it... [link]

Well I tried changing the colors and things... but it's just not working. -___- I'll just start all over. xD
But I do like this design and I wanted to make it a black wolf girl instead, but even then I feel like she has the packs, knives and such like suki... Idk what to do with her. I'm going to try and fix things so she wont resemble suki at all... :/
And I'm glad you feel the same way about skulls and bones as I do! I feel in love with skulls when I was in high school when I had to draw one for class. They're just so interesting and I fell even more in love with them when watching Bones... >.>
And I'm glad that you've pretty much gotten over birds. I like birds a lot, but I can understand why ppl are terrified of them.

Kirana-chan In reply to LittleRueKitty [2013-04-11 03:56:19 +0000 UTC]
I bet a black wolf girl in similar clothing would look really cool :3
I mean the huskies do mingle with the wolves when their boarders cross.
The only real difference is that they are smaller and tend to be more nomadic,
while the wolves pick a place and stay in the general area, at least the traditional tribes do.
The non traditional are more like traveling mercenaries.
Home is where the job is and they tend to dress more like this -->[link]
I don't know when my love of bones happened...
I've just always found mummies, bones, artifacts to be interesting.
When I was a little girl I wanted to be a criptid hunter/archeologist/biologist/artist XD
I think if I really think hard it started with elementary school and loving mythology, monsters and art.
From there it naturally branched into history and biology. With the more I studied the both of them the bigger my interest grew in what is often thought of as morbid and/or taboo.
I can understand why people like them too. All of the colors how dainty some are, while others are the embodiment of power and freedom. Plus the little finches that are in my yard are adorable!
They are so small and sweet, I actually want to put a bird feeder out for them OwO;
However I don't want the other birds that come with having the feeders >.>;
I guess my main thing is I have problems getting over the evil birds in my life.
I've been attacked by 2 different ducks, Had a parrot try to bite into my arm (I was luck the shirt I was wearing prevented her from getting my flesh), my sister's parrot attacked me and swore at me =.= I had a parrot chase me around a store. On my honeymoon a parrot bit into my husband and wouldn't let go, he's still got a scar from that. I just figure I'm not ment to be a bird person, so I keep a respectable distance now.

Omgosh! I loved history and biology (especially zoology)!!! Oh and english! I hated math and chemistry... and physics....
But I think being an archeologist would be so much fun. I also love ancient bones (like dinosaurs and other fossils).
Haha! Finches are really cute and sweet, but I can completely understand your fear of the big birds.... I actually hate geese. And ducks attacking are scary... >.>
That's terrible! All those bird attacks!!! Where did you guys go on your honeymoon?

Heh I hated History and English as school subjects X3
However I loved reading and learning about them at home.
I guess it was the way it was presented to me.
At home my grandmother would read to me, tell me stories,
take me out on adventures to actually see historical places across the US.
We'd watch documentaries and talk about them in a fun way.
She'd either pulse the show or talk during the commercials about anything that grabbed our attention that she knew more about. She's honestly what got me started...
I just don't remember when she lit the flame >.>;
In school I was a Algebra and bio-science wiz with a love for reading.
They just all fit together so nicely and they were so easy =3=
I agree with you on Geometry, Chemistry and Physics though, I still hate them D;
I always liked writing stories as a kid but English didn't grow on me until collage.
I had some awesome professors that just made things click, and make more sense.
I still can't spell to save my life, but I've learned to love it anyways.
Even though my professors told me I was a drama queen writer >w>;
Awkward transition is awkward.
Yeah Geese and ducks are probably the worst big birds because I see them often and they are mean.
Parrots are the second worst because when they bite they not only pinch but they take out hunks of your flesh, however it's not often you see one D:
I think most other birds can be nice if respected.
Yesterday while I was out walking with my husband, a huge hawk came and flew above my head close enough that if I'd reached out I could have touched him.
He examined me while I watched him (no way I'm letting that big of a bird out of my sight >.>; )
It was actually kind of cool getting to check him out,
and think how rare it must be to see a wild hawk that close.
It's kind of creepy how daring he was, but it still feels kind of special at the same time :3
I never thought I'd feel that way about a bird...
Another awkward transition just for you ;D
We had our honeymoon in North Carolina down at the beach. The area is called the outer banks.
It's very close to where the Write brothers flew for the first time. Actually we went there on our honeymoon :3

Haha awkward transitions are funny xD
First off, I hated math with a super fiery passion (that still exists today). Loved english and history with a super fiery passion! And art of course!!! I was actually in the english club and art club. :3 Oh and spanish and french... I like learning languages, but they don't really stick. xD I forget very fast. (oh and just like you, I've been writing stories for as long as I can remember. xD I love writing and creating stories! And characters... I have a ton...)
Secondly, yesterday... I was actually attacked by two ducks at the park. My husband and I went there to have a little picnic (of sorts) when the two ducks went under the table (my husband was feeding them fries... -__-) and bit my leg! I screamed and jumped. I think it scared me more than anything! xD But I think the hawk flying close by would scare me even more. Haha, but at least it was creepy and special at the same time.
And lastly, ooh!!! That sounds like an interesting honeymoon! We didn't really get a honeymoon... are wedding was super quick cuz it was between semesters... haha xD We were sealed in the Portland, OR temple and then headed back to Rexburg.

Heh I was only ever in the art club, then I was taken out of public schooling and put into a private school. They didn't have clubs since the whole school fit into the size of an average high school class room. I was the only high schooler there actually. My best friend in school was a 13 year old girl who was made to sit with me from time to time for being a trouble maker X3
She was actually quite sweet, just a little different. They figured she'd do good with me since I was weird but knew how to behave. I miss my old schoold .n.
DUCKS! I would have flipped just having them come under the table X3
However I don't know if the hawk or the ducks would have been worse for me...
Probably the ducks >.>;
Heh our honeymoon and wedding was quick too.
We had been dating 4+ years (we debate when we actually started dating).
He lived really close and we had been friends and when he moved away to collage we continued being friends and tried long distance dating. He asked me to marry him and he moved back here and we got married a month later (AKA long enough for him to get a job and find an apartment).
We got married on one of his off days and spent his weekend as our honeymoon.
We didn't get married in the temple though.
His family is nonpracticing Catholic and he's nothing.
He was investigating the church and talking to the missionaries taking the lessons.
Then he had a bad experience with them and it's been hard getting him back there since.
He has a normal aversion to church that I understand.
When his grandfather was dieing his family asked their pastor to add him to the Sunday prayer.
The Pastor said he could work him in 6 months later.
After that his family stopped going to church, they still believe but don't have a church near by they believe teaches the right way.
My husband took it really hard and has a stiff wall to break through when it comes to religion.
I know he could be brought to the church, though it will take time and people who show they care.
The missionary that pushed him away made it clear he was just there to plunge him under the water and move on, and got in a lot of trouble with a lot of church stuff. It just figures I'd have the luck of him being the one my husband met.
