Description A scene in the cottage in Breaking Dawn Part 2. This is when Bella finds the secret message on a leaf in her copy of Shakespeare's Merchant Of Venice.
This is not 100% true to the book: I've changed the scene as Edward is not supposed to see the book at all, and I've added sleeping little Nessie with them

I found a line from the play which I like for the little baby and what she means:
How far that little candle throws his beams!
So shines a good deed in a naughty world.

Yes Anja, I'm a big Shakespeare freak so I got out my copy of The Merchant Of Venice to see if I could find something. I googled it too to see some more quotes, and I decided this one would be fitting. Yes, I agree, it's emotional

You really got a copy - in "ton étagère"?? I just a got a copy of "Richard III" - french + english and never read it

Yes, I'm a complete Shakespeare freak, I read English literarure at the University and mo mother was a teacher there too, so it runs in the family. I've got all his plays and books about him and theater-going in his time and stuff.. I used to go and see to all the Shakespeare plays I could find in Paris, and the first thing I did the first time I went to London was to see a play by him.
I read him less often now, but he's a great passion of mine - the greatest writer of all times, for me ..

I'd wish, I'd had a parent like you... *sighs*
I just had this Shakepeare movie with Gwyneth and Joseph.. and I was just like ...
But of course (of course!!!) for the story, not for the language* ! (I'm still a girl..)
*Language, correction: I've kept one single phrase carved in my head: "Passen Sie doch auf wo ich hingeh!" As a translator you should now that the daily/usual tak is "Passen Sie doch auf wo Sie hingehn!" I was like, pushing on the PAUSE button of life + humain language to be able to analyse this change of POV forever!! :love
PS: I'm still "quoting" it this way anytime I can in daily life remembering this great moment of connaissance

I just want you to know that before I even read any of the description, just by looking at the painting I could tell that this was Edward and Bella. Kudos to you! Very nice work. The fire is amazing, too.

Oh god, I can`t breathe, this is sooo beautiful - completely drooling over it! There are so many tiny and cute details, it`s like you need to look at it full size to find all the details. The little blacket - Nessie`s I suppose - on the table with the pacifier so cute. Aww, and the baby is like the cutest thing, bundled up in this pink blanket... . I especially like the way you did the fire, looks really "burning". The colours are perfect, as always, so warm and cozy. I could continue the list of details forever - there are so many. So just one more: The pictures on the wall, it`s like you can really recognize them, even if they`re so tiny. I love that Edward and Bella`s skin is really as white as snow, lol. Their almost glowing... Breathtaking piece, sweetie!

Thanks sweetie! Your own family drawings have really ispired me, particularly the family drawings, whether for Robsten or for Twilight, it does not matter. You're right, you need to click on it to see all the tiny details, it was very funny to put them all in, like clues. It was cool too that they now both have the same skin tone - easier for me!! But Nessis is more pink and flushed

Awwww I´m in love, I´m in love with this piece
That´s soooo cute, the three together, besides it is supposed to be the scene with Shakesspeare´s book I think this looks like a normal everday´s life scene and I like it. I mean the life of a vampire family isn´t normal, but certainly there are normal moments in their life xD Awww sleeping Nessie in her rosa blanket looks so cute...
And I like how you designed the room, it looks very homelike and comfortable All the tiny details, the fireplace... looks great!
That´s one more time a masterpiece! Very good job, my dear!

Thanks!! I'm glad you like it! I wanted to do something which would look like a normal family scene, but which would also be a scene from the book - more or less.
I love drawing interiors, cottages, houses... and i enjoyed drawing the baby so much!!
