It was difficult to get his stubborn secretary to accompany him out on the town. But the challenge of winning her over made the pursuit all the more entertaining. He showered her in lavish gifts: a designer dress, jewelry, champagne; and when he beckoned into his private limo, she couldn't possibly say no to his graciousness.

But the night is long, the liquor is strong, and the thumping of the bass in the back seat as they travelled to the next club to celebrate was hypnotizing. It was only a matter of time before Hull tasted the victory he craved.
