This took me about three weeks to complete. It was an abolute pain in the ass and I don't think I'll ever get the black chalk pastel out of my fingernails but DAMMIT WAS WORTH IT!!(cruise control etc.)
This is my final progect for art class and the teacher was kind enough to let us do a free-for-all, allowing us to decide our own subject, media and whatnot to be marked before exams.
I chose to do this.
Done with pencil and soft chalk pastels; Dethklok text done with silver acryllic paint, outlined with a black sharpie with pastel rubbed over it. Bam.
Kinda sad that the photo itself didn't turn out too well. I'll update with a clearer one if I can get it.

Having worked with pastels myself, I know what a pain in the behind they can be. You've done a wonderful job. If your instructor *doesn't* give you high marks she's seriously fooling herself. Well done!
