Leave the Tron Baby Alone.A single character shot and 3 paragraphs of vague story is hardly grounds to shit on this new franchise as much as I've seen. Seeing things like "Mega Man's dead", "MY EYES" and varying degrees of "NOOOO" get's tiring when there's been literally nothing to rip on yet.
Could the show be atrocious? Yes. Do we know that yet? No.
So until the day comes where the series tanks due to whatever reasons I will give this new child the benefit of the doubt, hold him to my bosom, and defend him from these shmucks who insist on judging books by their covers because it's not like their precious nostalgia based Classic Rockman. Only time will tell if this will be a good series or not- people are jumping ship far too early.
Fans carry on about how Capcom won't do anything new with Megaman, how they have so much potential to make money with new content and when finally something new and different comes out this happens. So they're stuck re-releasing collectors edition packs or anniversary promos of the same old stuff because fans lose their minds whenever something new shows up on the market that doesn't fit their bill; whether it be because it's not the original Rockman, or that they changed his name, even getting shallow and saying it's because it's of western release instead of Japanese.
It's no Legends 3 or X9 but dammit it's something new and I'm gonna at least give it a chance.

I would agree with you, people are being stubborn and Judgeful to this. I used to Detested the show Til when I watch a few episodes I start to love it, I don't care if its good or not, I'm enjoying myself with show.

That's how I feel about it- from what I've seen of it, they revamped a little how he looks and went with a more 'Classic' looking design. I can't say I'm very impressed with the fact they gave him a catchphrase though...

It's the same for sonic boom, mighty no 9, and probably the skylander show as well. Sonic boom is getting criticized because of rise of lyric and that the design doesn't look like sonic but it's there to separate the serious from the light-hearted for a younger audience so sega can have classic for people who love that modern for the more serious stuff and boom the the light-hearted humor and plot. Mighty no. 9 is a good game but gets hate because it's not the "original" mega man, well it's not supposed to be it's supposed to be a successor to it and it is it's as hard as the original, it gives good music, it has an interesting plot, it has decent characters, it has good controls, but it's not mega man, why? because it's not supposed to be it's supposed to be a successor to mega man and it is. Skylander show, Skylanders is already getting hate just because it has spyro in it and it's not "allowing" another spyro game to come out well guess what it's not, and i'm not just saying that because i like the series spyro has been through some different games some good some bad while others are a story ark the series won't be able to sustain itself because of the different companies so activison would have to use skylanders as spyro's current series until they can find a way to either continue where spyro last left off aka the legend of spyro or give the series it's third reboot and make an entirely new spryo game with different characters, story, and controls or they could make skylanders the third reboot and start making the series mainly about spyro. Anyway all these games were made to help the series and the companies that made them.

Im goin to be honest with my point of view. Im not really bother by new design, just seems strange for me.... I feel neutral with it, but, here comes the part that bothers me a little of the many fans ..... a lot of times or many of the fans (but not quite all) do not have an open mind, or not to accept new ideas for something in general in many things, so happened to The Lion Guard, just because it has a somewhat different concept everyone started to harshly criticize without seem first premiere episode will be shown. In the premiere's day some like it and other just hated it by the fact, but that's normal, but really not that something that is deplorable, it's like what they think to be with the new series of Megaman, but I can not completely criticize something that neither has premiered on television, that's partly the problem of video game fandom (and many kinds of fandom), I do not want to wait anxiously with all the hope of the world but will not be pessimistic with that, it is how I feel the things we can be sure that it will be a disaster by fist view

That's the perfect sort of outlook to have. People are allowed to be skeptical about a new approach- but they should leave the harsh hate for when it actually turns out bad (if it does at all). To hate something this badly before the premiere (or even trailers!) means the fans will already be hating it when it does finally make its debut and most people will be too blind with their bias to actually give the show a chance. I'm not saying we should love and praise this new series before it airs because that's pretty much the same thing, isn't it?

The Sonic Boom cartoon is fantastic but people were saying it was going to be bad because the game was of poor quality- thankfully the show writers and the game developers are different lol.

I personally don't like it because of the different begaviour of the characters. I prefer sonic X: it is more...."serious", and funny when it is needed

Sonic X definitely had some deeper/darker instances in it but Sonic Boom is bubbly and light-hearted and I find myself more compelled to watch because of it. This new Megaman is aimed toward younger audiences similar to Sonic Boom. Don't expect grimdark plots for this new series. That's hardly grounds for saying it's going to be bad, though.

Both Sonic X and EXE were anime titles as well- which, unfortunately, affects the content levels of 'kids' shows due to culture differences. I'm sure it would touch on darker tones if it were being made overseas but we may have to settle with the more vanilla western storylines which often times aren't as willing to take shows to those places (not that I'm saying it's a good thing- just a common trend). This show's being made by the Ben 10 and Big Hero 6 producers so there may be hope for it yet.

The fans should just accept that Capcom even wants to make anything to do with the Blue Bomber anymore. I think that, while a vast majority of the fans would prefer another game, consider how underwhelming some of the Mega Man games where. *cough cough* X7 *cough cough*

Poor Aki Light. He may not be the same Rock we knew, but he sure as hell tries. I hope Mega Man does more redesigns and then a vote ror the best, honestly. Either way, Dr. Light, keep on building.
