Oh dear, here comes Juno! I have a love-hate with Juno...
Pro- Long haired robot dude, pretty chill up till he decided it was necessary to kill everyone
Cons- Chilling as hell when he loses it, all around spooky dude, and the unchanging expression is unsettling.
My inner turmoil on him notwithstanding, this is an awesome piece, I love that the whole thing is on fire- When I first saw the Juno boss fight I was thinking "Ooh, this is all going to hell pretty quickly" so that feeling is pretty accurately captured here! Haha. You also nailed Juno's expression, the scary nice-guy-smile-from-a-not-nice-guy. I don't know how long it took to get his face that perfect, but you nailed it.

I had never had the opportunity to really look into MMLegends and so Juno was lost to me until only recently. Aside from the fact he appeals to a lot of my preferences when it comes to liking a character I think it's that sort of moral/immoral grey area that he's apart of that really drives it home.
A lot of people, for obvious reasons, play him off as an evil villain but in all honesty he isn't so bad. The problem is that his designated purpose falls under something we don't consider ethical and so we perceive him as a bad guy; but in the end he is simply carrying out his designation and trying to ensure any obstacles (in this case Volnutt) are overcome. Overpopulation is a problem, unfortunately genocide was the solution he was made for. A case of 'Good Idea, Bad Execution'Β
The only comparison I can think of off the top of my head is the Autopilot from Disney's Wall-E lol.

I'm not a huge Legends guy myself- by "saw the boss fight" I mean, literally SAW a video. lol
He is an interesting opposite to Volnutt, for sure.
I think that sums it up about right, he's a rare example of a Mega Man villain who isn't reprogrammed/malfunctioning/etc... he just IS what he is. That's actually part of what's scary about him, the fact that nobody else told him specifically to kill mass populations of humans, he just came to that conclusion on his own. But yeah, "bad execution" with an emphasis on EXECUTION.

Kurogane Communication is a CRIMINALLY underrated show about a girl raised by robots in a post-apocalyptic earth. It has had a great deal of influence on my own body of work, from the art style to the general tones and characterization. Bonus points for its use of non-human template robots as expressive and unique individuals. The episodes are each a little over ten minutes, when I first watched it the whole run took me about a total of four hours. I think you'll like it!
