Detail from my current WIP of Ayanami Rei (ZOMG!) from the good, though highly overrated anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion. Hopefully this will be done (inked and colored) in time for ChibiPa '05. XDYou only get to see her face so far, because I'm really not happy with her body, wings, or limbs as of yet, and because it's the closest to finished of any part of the picture. Once I'm done with the whole thing, this is going in scraps (ha, I typed "craps" there).

It looks great. I don't agree that the series is overrated, but hey lol. Anyway, the shading is really good andI like your style. Her hair came out nice and I like her expression. Even though you said it's unfinished, it looks kinda cool the way it is with the sketchmarks around her hair and such.

That looks really good! I love it when known chatacters are portrayed in a different style than usual!I myself have never attempted Neon Genesis Evangelion's charas, but wow... this kinda makes me wanna get into fanart. Go you -it really does look great -can't wait to see the whole thing completed. I bet it'll be awsome
