So, um. I'm working on an X-Men/Naruto crossover. I realize this is proof that I'm a complete and total nerd,and is an idea that would most likely get me shot by angry comic book geeks (can you tell the only comic book series I've ever followed aside from Sandman is X-Men?), but WOULDN'T IT BE COOL?!

Actually, I've had this idea in the back of my head ever since I first watched Naruto more than 2 years ago, I have things written down in my notebooks about how the kekkei genkai/bloodline limits are like mutations in X-verse, even in terms of reactions from others who don't have them. (some, like the Hyuuga and Uchiha's traits, are prized, others are feared, like Haku's, and others are used as weapons or viewed as subhuman, like the Kaguya clan.)

Anyway, on to the explaining. This is Team 7 as they appear in X-Men 'verse. I don't know which continuity they're going to fit in, but I'm thinking of foregoing all the convoluted shit and just making up my own continuity, or even have it be an AU where either they're a foreign branch of the X-Men (LOL SO MARY SUE-ISH) or the original X-Men characters don't exist at all, but rather, the Naruto characters are in the place of Xavier and the X-Men team.

Sasuke - no mutant name yet
Powers: Similar to his sharingan in Naruto canon - he can copy moves and some mutant abilities by sight, but only for a short time at first.

Naruto - Kitsune (tentative until I think of a better one)
Powers: Healing factor, claws, minor shape-shifting/illusory abilities.

Sakura - Id
Powers: Has an alternate personality activated in times of stress (Inner Sakura, who I'm busting out the psychology on and referring to as the id), who has super strength and shielding against telepathy. Her regular persona is unaffected, and appears to have no mutant powers whatsoever.

I'm going to write this when I go to Tennessee in 2 weeks to visit my aunt, because it'll be the first time in weeks where I won't have a prior commitment (work or cosplay). XD
