So here it is? And a word of explanation for particular stages.
1. Just a general concept sketch
2. Drawing a bit more detailed sketch over the previos one.
3. Adding local colours
4. Along with basic shading
5. And all the fun starts here, I often draw the rest of the picture on one layer.
6. There's no particular order in what I draw, but I tend to focus on the visually most important parts at first.
7. Aand more details? I finish the sketch commissions somewhere between this and the previous stage. Just pointing that out, because some people seemed a bit disoriented with this?
8. Once the body is done. it's time to torture myself with clothing. That dress wouldn't even make sense in reality but shush.
9. And I'm done?
10. Just playing with colour settings and adding a simple texture, so the background doesn't look so half-assed looks okay. And yep, I'm done.

This is incredibly helpful to me as someone trying to figure out semi-realistic colours. So thanks!

So I see you removed your sketch lines at #9
Did you draw on the lineart of the body over the colour or...? Because I want my art to look painted like yours, but my lineart always really stands out. I could never figure out how people could have lineart AND the painted effect. :s

I didn't remove the sketch, I painted over the remaining parts of it, still visible at #8 nad #7 o:
And there's no lineart itself, at stage #5 I merged all layers and painted the rest of the picture all over it. This 'lineart' you see is partially a remainder of the sketch and an outline I draw along with the body and the rest.
And I suck at explaining things :c ahh

My goddddddddd. I'm so jealous of your coloring. It's very, very lovely. I love seeing process done like this too. I actually thing #9 was amazing enough, but you really went all out. If this is truly a wip, I can't wait to see it finished!
